Gibbston Valley Home Relocation

This two bedroom, one bathroom, double garage home was originally built in the 60’s.

We relocated this home in 2015 from Lake Hayes to the current location in Gibbston Valley and rejigged the layout to include an additional bedroom and bathroom.

How did we relocate this home?

We demolished the original two bedroom flat underneath the home and then put supports in until a relocation truck was wedged underneath it.

We then cut the home into three sections and transported it to the new site.

What was involved?

This relocation included ground preparation and connecting all services in a rural area. The garage was turned 180 degrees and refitted. We installed a new kitchen and gave the whole place a full facelift. And this was all done on time for auction purposes.
